We decided to take belly pictures (I'm 35 weeks), but the real star of the pictures is Elyse.

Braids

Elyse said she wanted braids in her hair today. Here she is showing them off.

The Nursery

I have started to nest. Here are some pictures of Baby Girl's Nursery. It doesn't have any furniture it it yet, because Elyse is still using it, but you can at least see what I am putting on the wall.

The artwork is by a local Singaporean artist. Elyse is being my model :)

This is from my mom. I hope you can read what is written on it. I think it's so cute!

The last thing I am going to put up is Baby Girl's name in some fancy, symbolic Chinese writing from a guy in Chinatown.

Updates

We haven't been doing much outside the house in the last week or so because Elyse has been potty training. She has been doing a great job. She really hasn't had an accident for the last 4 days or so. We have gone to the playground, swimming, and a trip to Starbucks has been in order, but we have mainly stayed at home.

While at home Elyse has done a lot of playing. Annie (her doll) has been a consistent companion along with Riley the Dog, Thomas the Train and of course Mommy and Daddy.

One morning Elyse found this outfit in her dresser. It was a gift to her from someone Toby works with who got it in India. It is too small for her now, but she still can pull it off, don't you think?

32 Weeks

I am now a little over 32 weeks. I went to the doctor today and they did a scan to see how big our little girl is. Unfortunatley she was a bit camera shy so we don't have a good picture of her. She is in the 50th percentile at 2 KG (4.4 lbs) and seems to be on track to becoming an 8 lb baby. Just about 8 weeks to go!

More Easter Fun

After the egg hunt (and a nap), we dyed eggs. This was the first time Elyse has done this so I expected a big mess, but in actuality, there was little mess and fun was had by all :)

Egg Hunt

We were invited to an Easter Egg Hunt today. Elyse got to see her friends and hunt for eggs. This was her first egg hunt and she did very well for herself.

This is Toby's siblings. It is very hard to get everyone together. We were able to get all of Toby's siblings, 2 wives and a fiance, in this picture. AMAZING!
